I am still painting a lot.
I am making photographs.
I've been Doing lots of indoor house plant goings.

My baby is getting bigger everyday.
And smarter and More adorable.

Life is pretty ok.

We will be looking out of Michigan for a place to live.
North Caroline, Maryland, Missouri, and so on.

I am terribly behind on Journal updates here on DA.

So I will Try to sum it up and  not let it drag on too much.

Since last I wrote you all, the following items have come to pass:

- I quit smoking. My last cigarette was on June 29th.

I had a Baby! Well, My wife did, but the baby is mine. And I delivered her!
IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!  Her Name is Sara Mae. And she is awesome.
And even more amazing, She just had her picture taken with her Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma,    and Great Great Grandma!  Yeah... Five generations in One photo! It was My Mom, Grandma and great grandma.  Sara and my wife.  so so crazy. and cool.
Babies change your life.
For good and bad and everything.

- I just got my new MacBook Pro, as reward for having not smoked for 100+ days.
  ( this was the bargain I made with my wife, as I saved enough in this time by not smoking,
  To be able to pay for the laptop.)  damn thats a lot of smoking.

And Now...

I am working on a New New New series of work. Involving my painting,
drawing, photography, three dimensional, etc. etc. etc.

and I am LOOKING for folks to COLLABORATE with in this new crazy out there series.
Its all about experimenting in how I work and we work, and what we don't do, and need to work on. its all about whatever.
I Guess I dunno what its about.
About Relationships I think. Between friends, Families, lovers, enemies.

Ok. where to start. I shall make this as brief as possible.

FIRST things first,
My subscription for DA has run out once again. its indeed sad.
So, the first person to send me a note to tell me they want to pony up a sub. for me will get a painting.
8x10. subject matter of their choosing (within reason...)  
Thats a big ol value right there. $150 value in fact.
so.... anyone...?


Ive been gone a while, I know.
A recap... in August I went to stay w my lil sister in NYC and visit friends etc.
And while there, I had the opportunity (through a collector of my work) to meet his friend, and it just so happens that his friend is the director of the Keith Haring Foundation.  it was amazing! I saw his studio space, lots of original art, and got a copy of the new Monster sized book. amazing. thanks to Julia, and of course Chris!

I went to Oahu, Hawaii in october. AWESOME! I drove around all week in a convertible with no shirt, hair wild in the breeze. swimming with crazy sea life. it was awesome. AND i got to meet bonsai master Walter liew.

Christmas was good. Laid back. all is well with my fam and the wifes.
And my awesome wife got me the perfect gift: Kids in the hall DVD megaset!  its the entire series! with tons of bonus goodies. and I mean quality bonus... not the run of the mill crap.

I am now taking my second Ceramics class at CCS in Detroit, with Chrys Lewis. she rocks, and I am learning a ton.  I have some pieces that I think are worthy to be shown to the public. so they will be posted here soon.

Now i am also swinging back into painting. i feel refreshed and clear and I think the new work will show that. its a slightly new direction, but never far from my monkey core. if you will.


In other news..... I am going to be a DAD!!!! YEP! a dad!!!
baby to arrive in August/september.  and Im gonna be needing art for the nursery.....

ROCK N FRIGGIN ROLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!
