Good for you, Find magical leaf, get raccoon tail, Able to fly. Sunday morning I got out this old canvas with a terrible monkey on it, Started layering on the color squares. 7 hours later, I was still putting on squares. About this time, My cd player quits working. So I go to the living room, And dig through records. REAL RECORDS! And I come across "Bridge Over Troubled Water" by Simon & Garfunkel. (one of many records inherited from my uncles) and I havent heard "cecilia" in a while. So I put it on. And a bit later, as "The Only Living Boy In New York" is playing. And im thinking about how great it is. And somehow through a weird chain of random thoughts.... I think that Mario from mario3 is the perfect image for this song. So. Thats what this painting is about. If you have the record (or cd i suppose) get it out. Put it on, and stare at this bad MOFO! 16" x 20" Acrylic on canvas 7 hours on background. 9 hours on mario color layering and line work. Sample lyrics from "The only living boy in new york" I get the news I need on the weather report. I can gather all the news I need on the weather report. Hey, I've got nothing to do today but smile. Yeah. its a long time.
Did 7 hours yesterday, the rest today.
Short breaks to smoke or eat.
But when you get really involved, time FLYS!
ever. You could even turn into that rock dude
and nobody was able to see you. I love the way
this looks. To me is like we are looking at Mario
from an Airplane and the sqares are the designs
on the ground. Cool man.

in your inventory. I remember trying to swim with it. It was almost
imposible. My girlfriend's got the original game and her old Nintendo
console. It looks so Weird. I bought the gameboy version for her last
year or something like that. I really like Mario World better that any
of the other games but this one is the second best on my list.
